By using monsterarticles.info, you agree to these terms. They are, we hope, reasonable. If any of them seem wrong to you, please write to us and we will explain or — if appropriate — revise.
The Site's Purpose
Monster Articles is a publication of AI-generated folklore fiction. Every monster, witness account, scholar, and historical reference on this site is invented. Nothing here is intended to be taken as factual reporting, historical record, or any kind of real-world advice or information. This is stated at the bottom of every page for a reason.

The illustrations are AI-generated images created using OpenAI's Sora from prompts written by the curator. They are published here under the curator's implied license and may not be reused commercially without permission.
The site's name, branding, and typographic treatment ("Monster Articles," the gothic monogram, the color palette) are reserved.
The Nature of the Content
Every creature, witness, scholar, date, location-specific historical event, and quoted source on this site is fiction. Specifically:
- The monsters are not real folklore — they are newly invented for this site
- The witness accounts describe events that did not happen
- The scholars (Rev. Josiah Pell, Etta Burrage, Elsie Korpela, and others) are invented characters
- Quoted diary entries, letters, and interview excerpts were written for this site, not drawn from archives
- Historical events referenced as framing context (e.g., the 1870s grasshopper plagues) are real — but the monsters attached to them are not
The site's disclosure of its AI-assisted creative process is detailed on the How It's Made page. Readers are encouraged to read that page for full context on how entries are produced.

Affiliate Links and Advertising
The site may display third-party advertisements (via Google AdSense) and include affiliate links (primarily through the Amazon Associates program) in its recommendations sections. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charles Carboneau and Monster Articles shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, data loss, or any other commercial damages. If you suffer any loss or harm from reading or using this site, our maximum aggregate liability is zero U.S. dollars.
If this seems unfair, please note that (a) we charge you nothing to read the site, and (b) the site consists primarily of invented stories about creatures that do not exist.
